Yilin Sun, Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics/Curriculum & Instruction, O.I.S.E./University of Toronto, Canada.  She has over 20 years of experience in the field of Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages as a MA-TESL teacher trainer, a researcher, a classroom teacher, teacher supervisor, and program leader with a variety of higher educational institutions in China, Canada and U.S.A.

Yilin loves teaching and working with her students. In addition to teaching, she is committed to a variety of professional association activities. She serves on the Board of Directors of the international association of Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL, Inc). She chairs the Professional Issues Committee for American Federation of Teachers-Seattle 1789. She was Chair of the Affiliate Leadership Council of TESOL in 2007 and Past President of the Washington Association for the Education of Speakers of Other Languages (WAESOL).
