        A Quick Tour

        HISTORY

Way back in the beginning of 2006, your Teaching & Learning Center (TLC) and Distance/e-Learning (D/eL) departments began investigating a myriad of web applications as another means of delivering education ~ in particular to help supplement face-2-face, hybrid and online classrooms ~ and to bring back student e-mail accounts.

At that time, we discovered a powerful suite of 'Intranet' integrated tools for educators and their students - being offered to education for FREE - giving each of our users over 7GB of storage!

It didn't take long before South got serious and by March 27th 2008, SouthSeattle.edu E-Mail & Web Apps was officially launched by our IT department and it has been quietly growing bigger and bigger throughout our campus and the district since.

Even our sister campus, Central (SCCC) has adopted these web applications and North (NSCC) has just adopted it for their student e-mail', as well!

With your "SSCC E-Mail and Web Apps" account you receive an integrated suite of educational and highly collaborative online applications! Yours for free from here on and available to you anywhere you have a computer with Internet access!
