CMST 275 will survey communication issues and applications emerging from the on-going development and utilization of digitized media. Individual and group coursework and on-line activities focus on functioning effectively within the frontier environment of cyberspace. However, we shall be taking a unique and revolutionary approach to this process by jumping into the digital frontier of ememory. Thus, this course will use different online and off line technologies to document, store and analyze personal, professional, and social ememories of our daily lives (four weeks of active documentation will occur). We will then use the process of content analysis to better understand our interests and lives through our digital documented memories.
