This week, we'll be watching the videos: Forks over Knives. The video can be found on Netflix and on PBS.org.
After viewing this video, I'd like you to consider your own food and spending choices.
Each day over the coming week, record every meal, snack, drink, etc that you consume, record what you ate or drank and how much money you spent on each.
Transfer each item into an excel spreadsheet by day, meal and amount. Tally the total at the end of each day and for the week.
In a separate word document, 1) describe ways in which you could have changed what you ate, and the money you spent on it, thus saving money and your health.
2) Discuss any thoughts you had from either or both video and whether or not the information you gained from each changed your mind about the food you consume.
