SSCC Art Gallery presents the second of two Winter Quarter Exhibits “Juried Community Art Exhibition” February 24th, 2014 – March 19th, 2014

The jury includes South Seattle Community College Art Gallery Committee members and Bryan Ohno, owner of  Bryan Ohno Gallery .(http://www.bryanohno.com/)

Participation is open to community members and people affiliated with SSCC. ONLY the following zip codes are eligible:
98070  (Vashon),98106,98108,98116,98118, 98126, 98134,98136,98144, 98146,98166, 98168, 98178

Participants may submit any type of work such as photographs, drawings, sculptures, ceramics, and digital images.

Entries

  1. Entry is free!
  2. Each participant may submit a total of up to 3 items
  3. Participant entries must be submitted using Google Drive via our submission form
  4. Participant entries must fill out the sections “Full Name”, “E-mail address”, “Phone”, "Residency Zip codes",“Medium and Size (L X H X W)”,and "Entry images(Please copy the URL for your image link here)"
  5. If you are ready to submit your image, you can do it digitally by uploading it into Google Apps "Drive" via your personal Google Account or SSCC Google Apps for Education (GA4E) account. Note #1 When we receive your entry, we will send you an invitation via email for this show by February 11th-12th,2014.

 

Note #2  If you are ready to submit images of your art ... 


>> WORK SAMPLES: Submit minimum of 1 and maximum of 3 digital images of works currently available from your submission Artwork


>> DIGITAL IMAGES: Upload JPG files only GIF, TIFF, and other formats will not be accepted. Images must be 1920 pixels on longest side, at least 72 DPI/PPI & under 2 MB

>> CITATION FORMATS when using Google Drive:  
    Artist’s Last Name_First Name_Image #_Title_Dimensions

Note #3 Art Gallery space is limited, so we may not be able to hang all items you submit. Therefore, we may select items from your submissions based on size and/or suitability.

“Hand Delivery of Submission item”

If you live near SSCC Art Gallery and would like to hand-deliver your submission items, they may be delivered during Gallery hours February 18-19, 2014 (10am-4pm). Larger works or works requiring special installation may be delivered on the installation day.  Please make prior arrangements with Akiko.Masker@seattlecolleges.edu

 

“Pick up of Submission Items”

Please pick up your submission items, during the gallery’s hours of operation March 20-21, 2014 (10am-4pm)
